Growing up in India art was around in various forms. I have fond memories as a teenager of visiting painting classes with my mom as she created 28 pieces for our new home. Her passion for art was contagious and it stuck with me as I created pieces (only one of which has been hanging back home still).

As I moved to Canada to pursue education in the field of space, I did not have resources or time to dedicate to art! It took me more than 12 years after coming to Canada to get back into painting. I attended classes offered by the city and I was back into my passion for painting. While I mostly painted nature then (and still do), I have recently combined my passion for space and painting into one by getting inspired what is out there and to bring it home in some sense! In addition to space, I am inspired by nature and dabble into abstract as well!

I paint in my basement studio and have been filling the shelves in my studio for last couple years! By popular demand, I have decided to share it with the world through Stellar Dreams Art.

While 'Spaced Out' is my first collection of space inspired paintings, I am looking forward to continue sharing my painting and jewellery pieces in my upcoming collection. Stay tuned!
